What is the Montgomery IT Summit (MITS)?

Montgomery IT Summit is an annual event hosted by the Montgomery Chapter of AFCEA International.

MITS 2025 begins on Monday May 18th, 2025, with the annual Montgomery AFCEA Charity Golf Tournament, with proceeds benefiting the Montgomery AFCEA Chapter Educational Foundation. Since its inception, the Educational Foundation has invested over $5 million in scholarships and other benefits for Montgomery area students, helping to transform Montgomery into one of the fastest growing centers of technical excellence in the Southern United States.

The conference portion of MITS 2026 begins on Tuesday May 19th, 2026. The theme is:

“GenAI: From Prompt to Mission Success”
